Immigration is and has always been my life.
My story with immigration began before I was even born when my maternal grandfather was assassinated for his religion in Pakistan. My young widowed grandmother had to pack up her six children as they fled for their lives. They struggled for years to recover from the emotional and financial trauma of his death, which has had repercussions to this day, as I still have family members escaping persecution. My family was not allowed to live out the life they wanted in Pakistan, but in America they had a chance to achieve their goals.
I grew up firsthand seeing the chase for the American Dream and all the struggles that come along with it. I commend anyone who makes the perilous and uncertain journey of migrating to a new country, as I was raised to see those difficulties every day. Language barriers, cultural norms, complex legal systems, persecution, financial struggles and so much more keep millions of immigrants from coming to America or being allowed to stay. I firmly believe nobody should live in the shadows of this country and should know their human rights.
My family story wouldn't have been possible without immigration, and I want to ensure that every client of mine has the same chance. It's why I started Qazi Law in the first place and work relentlessly on every case I have to make sure that families have a success story from immigration that they can pass down from generation to generation.

I have practiced law for over 25 years, and while the majority of my career has been focused on immigration law, I also have several years of experience with estate planning. Alongside my full-time work at Qazi Law, I am a published author, have presided over multiple foundations, and taught professionally. Almost all of these endeavors deal in some way or another with immigration. For example, I founded and presided over a nonprofit named Ripple NPO dedicated to working with immigrant youth to empower them with scholarships and essential needs. Immigration seems to play some importance in my life one way or another, and ultimately gives me such a better understanding of the needs of my clients.
Outside of immigration, I am an author who's published multiple children's books. Most recently, I wrote a book called "In Her Shoes," telling the powerful story of how a simple donation can change the life of a child across the world. Additionally, I've worked alongside my family to create the Nadia Qazi Scholarship, which was established in 2021 in honor of our dear sister to fulfill the countless dreams of individuals pursuing higher education.
